We at Homeward do all that we can to ensure that your tenants will sign up and begin paying rent with Homeward. We send 3 invite text messages reminding the tenant that their landlord has requested they begin paying rent digitally.
However, if your tenant has still not paid rent we recommend the following strategies:
Reach out to your tenant directly via text or email notifying them of the system change and requesting they sign up
Be sure to input the tenants email as well as their phone number when inviting the tenant. While an email is not required our data suggests a tenant is more likely to sign up when they receive both a text an email from Homeward upon invite.
Post flyers around your building notifying the tenants of the change. You can use the flyer attached below.
